Third edition of the Best Title Prize at the Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez
This year’s 3rd edition is set to offer literature livers another outstanding experience.
Now a must-do meeting for literature lovers, the Prix du Titre (Best Title Prize) celebrates the creativity, audacity and elegance of today’s writers. Once again this year, four exceptional works have been hand-picked for the final selection, each bringing its own unique voice to the literary landscape.
Among this year’s talented finalists, the work of Simonetta Greggio particularly captivated our jury members and prompted us to host a special evening event in late September. Join us for an immersion in creativity in the intimate and inspiring setting of the Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez.
The finalists: an homage to contemporary literature
This year, the jury is showcasing four works full of finesse, testifying to the diversity of today’s literary talents. Among them:
- Mes nuits sans Bardot by Simonetta Greggio (Editions Albin Michel)
- Une sale affaire by Virginie Linhart (Editions Flammarion)
- Le ciel en sa fureur (The sky in its fury) by Adeline Fleury (Editions de L’observatoire)
- Ceux qui appartiennent au jour by Emma de Doude Van Trootswijk (Editions de Minuit)
An intimate literary moment: encounter with author and finalist Simonetta Greggio
On Friday, 27 September at 7:30 pm, the Hôtel de Paris Saint Tropez will have the honour of welcoming Simonetta Greggio for an exclusive conversation centred on her book Mes nuits sans Bardot. This intimate encounter, set within a refined and private atmosphere, will offer literature enthusiasts a rare opportunity to engage with the author about her latest novel, which resonates with one of Saint Tropez’s most emblematic icons, Brigitte Bardot.
In this novel, where the figure of Bardot is ever present, the narrative finds a particularly meaningful echo within this place steeped in her history. This year, the hotel pays tribute to the star on the occasion of her 90th birthday with a dedicated article, Brigitte Bardot, the Eternal Muse of Saint Tropez, celebrating her timeless influence on the village.
During the evening, Simonetta Greggio will share insights into the making of her work, her fascination with Bardot, and the way she has captured, through her writing, the mystery and legend of this iconic figure.
This conversation, curated by Agnès Bouquet, promises an exceptional moment, reflecting the artistic and cultural aura that radiates throughout the Hôtel de Paris Saint Tropez. To attend the “Conversation d’Agnès” with Simonetta Greggio, advance booking by email is required.
